Nemo: 12-days-old
October 17, 2013. The days are zipping by and Nemo is growing just as fast! Here he is on October 17, 2013, at 12 days old. We had arrived at our friend’s house, near Rogersville, Missouri, two days earlier. Nemo seems comforted when we hold him, but he is also content to sleep in his nice warm carrier when we are not holding him. 10/17/12 – Nemo – 12 days old – eyes opening...

Since we were going to visit friends, who are also fellow...

Since Nemo does not have a mother cat to nurse and care for him, I am his “mother.” Bottle feeding is pretty easy to do. However, one thing that many people do not realize is that kittens cannot eliminate on their own. The mother usually...

Nemo: One-week Milestone!
October 12, 2013 and Nemo is one-week old! By this day, our own cats are becoming used to him being in the house. Ellie Mae, who is 4, is usually around when I feed Nemo. When he is in the crate, she often sits on top of the crate. If I have Nemo in my office (usually to feed or just to keep him warm by having him on my lap), Dexter is often nearby observing. If you...
